Lionsgate Event Center wedding violinist
Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette is a venue we come back to again and again, with weddings there in 2023, 2024 and twice in 2025.
Yes. Extreme Strings has played four weddings at Lionsgate Event Center, plus a date night event in 2024. Jared plays the ceremony and cocktail hour, and at the reception he jams live over your DJ. He brings his own sound and sets up about an hour before the music starts.
Our history at Lionsgate
| Year | What we played |
|---|---|
| 2023 | Wedding |
| 2024 | Wedding, plus a date night event |
| 2025 | Two weddings |
At the 2023 wedding, the couple's DJ told them how impressed he was with Jared. That's the kind of teamwork we aim for with every DJ.
Violin and your DJ
Your DJ plays whatever they want, and Jared jams live on top with the wireless violin, popping in for the big moments and coming back when the energy needs a lift. There's nothing to pre-plan with your DJ. Once your contract is signed, Jared coordinates setup and sound with them, and he brings his own speakers so he doesn't rely on the DJ's system. More on violin with a DJ.
Earlier in the day
Most couples book the ceremony and cocktail hour too. Jared stays quiet while your officiant speaks, and plays about 20 full songs an hour at cocktail hour. You pick every song in your BookLive client portal from the song list.
