"Lannie Shelton is a contemporary violinist and violin teacher from Denver, CO who specializes in classical, jazz, pop, and folk music.
She went on two international tours with Denver Young Artists Orchestra and performed with the Lamont Symphony Orchestra for a year.
Lannie Shelton's diverse contemporary career includes unique performances at Dazzle Jazz Club, Colorado Renaissance Festival, Five Points Jazz Festival, Westword Showcase, Underground Music Showcase, and recording sessions with musical artists including Molina Speaks, the PinkHawks, Felix Ayodele, and members of Parliament Funkadelic.
Lannie Shelton currently teaches a full studio of violin students during the week and plays violin at night clubs, weddings, and churches on the weekends."
"Jack Boatman is a Milwaukee native with an extensive background in music. He prides himself on being an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, having played the violin for over 20 years and picked up several other instruments along the way, including guitar, bass, drums, and banjo.
He obtained a B.S. in Music Education from Case Western Reserve University in 2018. The following year he started his own wedding music business (Jack Boatman Music Services) where he both performs for ceremonies and DJ's receptions.
Jack also joined Dream City Strings in 2022, and is beyond excited to help develop Extreme Strings in the Milwaukee area! When he's not playing music for business or leisure, Jack likes to play video games, rock-climb, manage his softball team, and hang out with his fiancée Mara, corgi Chester, and cat Bean."
"Corinn Bonkalski is a classically trained violinist who has made a name in the Milwaukee music scene as a musician who crosses the genres of country, rock, bluegrass, Irish, and Americana.
She began playing violin at age 9 and soon became a member of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra as well as the Wisconsin State Honors Orchestras.
She continued her studies with Vadim Mazo at Illinois Wesleyan University, during which time she performed with the Peoria Symphony and the Topaz String Quartet. Upon returning to Milwaukee to start her career in music education, she started playing with local bands in addition to maintaining her classical performances.
She was nominated for WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) String Player of the Year and Music Educator of the year two years in a row, and won two WAMI awards for Folk/Celtic Artist of the year with the band Reilly. She continues to perform with multiple bands in the Milwaukee area at events such as Summerfest, Irish Fest, State Fair, Bastille Days, and more.
She has recorded multiple albums with Jay Matthes, Elephonic, Lack of Reason, Beatallica, and Julie Brandenburg, and stays active performing for weddings and special events."
