Weddings in and around the national park
- Power where there's none. Meadow and overlook ceremony sites often have no outlet. Jared's battery setup can power him outdoors for about a day.
- Sound that carries. Jared brings his own professional QSC speakers, so the violin reaches the back row outdoors without anyone straining to hear.
- Shade. Jared needs shade to play. A tent or a venue umbrella both work.
- Weather. A fine mist is fine. Once real rain falls, the electric gear has to get under cover, so Jared moves with you to your backup space. If a cold evening is forecast near 32°F, we plan a heater together.
- The whole weekend. If your weekend includes a rehearsal dinner or welcome party, Extreme Strings can play that too, as we did at Nest Above.
Getting there and what we play
Estes Park is about an hour and a half northwest of Denver, up US 36 through Boulder and Lyons. Jared arrives about an hour before the music starts to set up and sound-check. A travel fee may apply outside metro Denver, and it's included in your quote.
Most couples book the ceremony and cocktail hour. The ceremony usually needs about 16 to 18 songs, and cocktail hour about 20. Pick them from the song list in your BookLive client portal; 3 custom songs are included, then $25 each.
