How does pricing work for a corporate event violinist?

Corporate pricing is simple: you pay for the hours of music you need, and setup is already built in.

Short answer

Pricing starts with a base price for the first hour, which includes setup and all the logistics, then a set rate for each additional hour. A travel fee may apply outside metro Denver. The price is the same whether your venue provides AV or Jared brings his own sound system.

What sets the price

FactorHow it affects your quote
First hourA base price that covers arrival, setup, sound-check and all the logistics.
Each additional hourA set hourly rate. Most events book two to three hours in total.
LocationA travel fee may apply outside metro Denver.
AVNo change. Same price whether you provide sound or Jared brings his.

Setup time doesn't eat into your music. Jared arrives about an hour before his first set, and that time is part of the base price.

From quote to paid

  1. Send your details. Date, venue, start and end times, and what the music is for.
  2. Get your proposal. Jared sends a proposal quickly, sometimes while you're still on the first call.
  3. Sign and pay online. You accept the proposal, sign the contract and pay online in BookLive. If your legal team has its own contract, Jared can sign that instead.
  4. Final payment. Online is easiest, and checks are fine too, including a check handed over on-site when that's how your company pays vendors.

What's included

  • Live electric violin, usually solo, over full-band backing tracks
  • Jared's own professional sound system, or coordination with your audio engineer
  • A microphone for announcements during contracted hours
  • A set built for your crowd from hundreds of songs
  • Trusted substitute violinists and backup equipment

Getting the most from your hours

Most of the price is time, so match the booking to your run of show. Put the music where people are mingling: arrival, the cocktail hour, dinner. Leave out the stretches where your program has the room. If you have a keynote in the morning and a reception at night, send both times and Jared will quote them together. See how long a violinist can play for typical lengths.

Questions planners ask

Why don't you list prices?

Every event is different in length, location and timing, so Jared sends a proposal based on your actual details.

Is it cheaper if our venue provides sound?

No. The price is the same either way, because Jared still sets up some of his own sound when he connects to yours.

Is there a travel fee?

A travel fee may apply outside metro Denver. It's shown in your proposal.

Do you accept checks?

Yes. You can pay online in BookLive or by check, including a check on-site for the final payment.
