Company holiday party violinist in Denver
A live violinist turns an office holiday party into an event, without taking over the room the way a loud band can.
Extreme Strings plays company holiday parties across metro Denver, from cocktail-style office parties to club celebrations. Jared mixes holiday favorites with pop and classic hits, brings his own sound system, and most parties book two to three hours of music.

What a holiday party set sounds like
Most of the night is music your coworkers already know, played on electric violin over a full-band backing track. Holiday songs set the mood without turning the party into a carol sing.
- Holiday favorites. Christmas Time Is Here (Vince Guaraldi), Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!, Lindsey Stirling's Snow Waltz and Vivaldi's Winter.
- Songs everyone sings along to in their head. September (Earth, Wind & Fire), Uptown Funk (Bruno Mars), Don't Stop Believin' (Journey).
- Something for the jazz fans. Fly Me to the Moon, Take Five and other standards for a quieter cocktail stretch.
Browse the full song list to pick favorites, or let Jared build the set around your crowd. A younger team might want more current pop; a firm with longtime clients in the room might lean toward classic rock and standards. Tell him who's coming and he'll shape the night.
How it works in an office or event space
- Small footprint. Jared usually plays solo and needs a little less than a 10 by 10 foot space. Even with less room, he can usually make it work.
- Own sound, ready early. He arrives about an hour before the first set to set up and sound-check, so the music starts on time.
- A mic for the thank-you. If your leadership wants to thank the team, Jared can provide a microphone during his contracted hours. He doesn't MC; he hands it off and keeps the music going after.
- Simple booking. You get a proposal, then sign and pay online in BookLive.
Extreme Strings has played downtown Denver office holiday parties in 2024 and 2025, a company holiday celebration in Centennial, and club events at the Denver Athletic Club.

Why a violinist instead of a band
A full band needs a stage, a long load-in and a lot of volume. Jared brings the sound of a band in one compact setup, at a level people can still talk over. It feels special, and nobody has to shout across the bar. See cocktail receptions if your party is more of a mingling event.
Questions planners ask
Do you play Christmas music?
Yes. Holiday songs like Christmas Time Is Here and Let It Snow are on the list, mixed with pop, rock and jazz so the party doesn't feel like a carol sing.
How long should we book for a holiday party?
Most corporate events book two to three hours of music. Jared can play up to four, with one short break for longer sets.
Can our CEO use your microphone for a toast?
Yes. Jared can provide a microphone during his contracted hours. He doesn't MC, so your host leads the toast.
Can we pay by check?
Yes. Jared accepts checks, and you can also sign and pay online in BookLive.
