Violinist for a private party in Denver

A birthday, anniversary or club dinner feels bigger with live music. Electric violin brings the energy of a band in a setup that fits a home or a clubhouse.

Short answer

Yes. Extreme Strings plays birthdays, anniversaries, vow renewals and club events, including brunches at the Denver Athletic Club and a Valentine's dinner at Columbine Country Club. Jared brings his own sound system, usually performs solo, and builds the set from songs your guests know.

How it works for a private party

  1. Tell us about the party. Date, place, times and who's coming.
  2. Pick the music. Choose favorites from the song list, from Frank Sinatra and Queen to Coldplay and Bruno Mars, or let Jared choose for your crowd.
  3. Book online. You get a proposal, then sign and pay online in BookLive.
  4. Enjoy the party. Jared arrives about an hour early, sets up in a space a little less than 10 by 10 feet, and plays. If someone wants to give a toast, he can hand them a microphone.

Every party is different, so tell Jared what kind of night you want. A milestone birthday might want an upbeat set that gets people singing along in their heads; an anniversary dinner might call for jazz standards and love songs. He can also play alongside a DJ if you have one.

For club managers booking member events, Jared can also send a certificate of insurance and a W-9. More on paperwork.

Party questions

Can you play at our house?

Yes. Jared needs a little less than a 10 by 10 foot space and brings his own sound. Outdoors, he needs shade and can run on battery power.

Can someone use your microphone for a toast?

Yes. Jared can provide a microphone during his contracted hours.

Can we request specific songs?

Yes. Pick from hundreds of songs on the song list, and ask about anything that isn't there.

How long should we book?

Many parties book two to three hours. Jared can play up to four, with one short break for longer sets.
