Our goal is to provide an alternative, one that combines the best of classical and modern music with a dynamic and engaging performance that will leave guests buzzing with excitement.

Our story
2018 - Our Music Director, Jared Judge graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with his Master's degree in Orchestra Conducting. He had been performing with his string quartet, Dream City Strings for weddings and other events.
2022 (spring) - Jared met Steven Vance, an electric violinist in Pittsburgh who showed Jared the power that electrifying his instrument had on his performances. At this time, Jared also met and started working with world-famous electric violinist Tracy Silverman to launch his Strum Bowing Groove Academy.
2022 (fall) - Jared and Steven decided to partner and create Extreme Strings Electric Violins. Jared was planning on moving to Denver, but as a last hurrah, he performed at an event which received rave reviews. He discovered and trained additional electric violinists in Milwaukee who continue to electrify our events there.
2022 (winter) - Jared moved to Denver and officially launched Extreme Strings by performing at several events around downtown. The demand for our performances was immediately apparent, and we auditioned and trained additional electric violinists in Denver to keep up with the demand!
Beyond - Extreme Strings continues to entertain audiences across Wisconsin and Colorado. We have been in-demand ever since, and our geographic reach extends beyond the borders of our home states!
